Only three left and I'm sure you all know what to do. Let's discuss this show in this thread or I'll go Ramsay on your buttocks!

If Heather doesn't win, I think I'm going to cry. Oh well, if worst comes to worst we have Virginia's Salad Shop to look forward to :oooo

That moron Virginia CANNOT win. I was laughing my butt off last night when Keith told GR exactly what he thought about how Virginia has gotten a free pass. :laugh

I agree, JB! I'm just glad that it was finally said out loud.

sikwitit - August 8, 2006 09:36 PM (GMT)
well... now there is only two left and i think heather is not gonna win so i guess that virginia has to be the winner. OR.........

If Virginia "wins," I doubt there will be a season three. One would hope the producers would realize that.

When my fiance and I were watching the show, we agreed that if Virginia won the challenge, she and Ramsay must be having some extracurricular slap and tickle going on (well, we didn't say it like that, but this is an all-ages site and sometimes we can be a bit crude :D ). Then we come back from commerical and, lo and behold, she's won again!! Now I can accept that she knew about the white bean puree because she saw the beans sitting out on a pan, but how did someone whose cooking expertise extended only to toasted nuts figure out grapefruit beurre blanc by taste alone? And last week she didn't notice the burnt flavor of the peas before she sent them out to master chefs? Come on! Keith is absolutely right--she must be getting some kind of free pass not to have been eliminated in one of the first few episodes, much less make it to the final two. People with loads more talent than her are long gone.

At least now I know that my favorite from the beginning, Heather, is now poised to win. No way will they give (and it would be a gift, not an earned thing at all) a restaurant in a Las Vegas resort to Miss "But the sashimi was too wiggly!" They would hemorrhage money and be closed within months.

Virginia isn't going to win. I felt bad for Keith though. If it was between him and Heather in the end, I think he probably would have won.

I pray that Virginia doesn't win. What will just be WRONG! A couple of episodes ago she was willing to take herself out of the running because she admitted she wasn't ready for her own restaurant! And he petulant answer about why she should stay when Sara was cut was "because I wanna!" What a greedy so and so. She is so immature. People talk about Heather's meltdowns, but those are not in the kitchen! With the exception of the time Heather burned her hand, she has not broken down in the kitchen in service that I can recall. I can't say the same for Ms. Virginia.

I can't wait to hear her answer to the reporter's question "what does your HUSBAND think of you being on TV?" next week. Hahahahahahahaha

The most shocking part of the whole show was the preview for me! She's married? Geez. I hope they do like in the earlier seasons of The Apprentice and they don't get to choose their helpers. Tom is going to be great entertainment... for the other chef who he's not working for.

jonnysbandit - August 14, 2006 01:28 AM (GMT)
I think it would be great if they let the sous chefs choose who they want to work with in the finale (like they did in Top Chef). It would be hilarious to hear the crickets chirping when asked who wanted to work with Virginia. :laugh
