Let's talk about tonight's performances in here.

Great show tonight. They had some really good song choices. Dilana was my favorite (loved her), followed by Lukas, who owned that stage. I loved seeing Jason Newsted play bass while Phil sang. When the show went off, Dana, Jenny and Ryan were in the bottom three and I am in total agreement with that. Dana sang Bon Jovi and she was just boring. Ryan had CCR's Fortunate Son and he could have rocked that song. Did he??? NO. And Jenny performed Drive by Incubus and it was too sing-songy. Josh should be at the bottom with his version of Nirvana's Come as you are. One of the best songs ever written and the guy had no energy and no power. I know he's got a good voice, but as Dave and the others coined the phrase, he needed to crank it.

How could you forget about the Puerto Rican mess? That girl SUCKED! She wasn't on-key once during that song. :O

Zarya sucked? Yes, absolutely. She's wrong for the band, possibly wrong for the genre altogether. Is she a mess? Yup, definitely, and she has been from the very beginning and I don't see that ever changing.
I'm not a zealot for political correctness. I personally can't stand the young lady, but her ethnicity has nothing to do with her tremendous suckiness. She just sucks.
She still does much better than I ever could. They'd throw rocks at me. :)

I didn't forget about her, she just wasn't worth mentioning. Patrice fought so hard for the Beatles "Helter Skelter." It was just meh for me. I thought she could have been more powerful. As for Storm, the girl can sing. But I have to close my eyes to listen to her. She is way too theatrical. Dave told Lukas he was arrogant and the crowd started to boo, but then he said it was awesome. Jill had "All right now" and she has a powerful voice. Magni wore some awful glasses while he sang "Crush" by Stone Temple Pilots. Good vocals but not enough energy. Don't these people understand they have to rock. The little LP's (5 and 3) danced and headbanged :) to Lukas, Phil (probably because the bass was son awesome) and Dilana.

I started to bitch at the contestants for the song selections and then I remembered the bands put the songs up. :rolleyes
The Cars? The Crandberries? Stone Temple Pilots? Rock my arse!

....and that's how I came across ART. I was looking for a place to complain about the songs that the performers were given to choose from.
Geez, if those three goofs don't like songs like Roxanne for example, it shouldn't be a choice.
Everybody Hurts? Heck ya. Anybody who has to hear that song hurts.
ARGH!
Well, Tommy, how did you feel about the the way song selection went this week? Nice to see them acting like rock stars he says. *&^&^$#@$!@$@%^!!!!!!
Always nice to have someone on national tv encourage people to act like bleepity bleeps. Dang bleeper.
