Talk about tonight's episode in here. :)

I deeply hate Sara, but I see why Chef Ramsay chose to send Maribel packing. She's been a consistent weak player on the team. She doesn't ever try to take a leadership role. She's a follower all the way. That said, I do think Sara should've taken the fall, as she made more mistakes than Maribel and Virginia.

Garrett just got lucky that he was on the same team as Heather and Keith. I call his elimination next week or the week after that.

As repugnant as I find Sara I find myself routing for her vs. Virginia because I deeply hate Virginia and her suck up ways. I wish she could give it a rest with Ramsay.

I found last night's show to be more boring than the last two. The characters are so bland and those who aren't are clearly working the camera.

Next week's show looks promising. I'm not gonna hold my breath though.

Neither am I, really.

I invite you all to join The Dark Side for a bit. Watching unlikable people suffer is truly...enjoyable. It's the reason I got hooked on reality shows in the first place with Survivor.

On the other hand, watching someone you've learned to like endure and emerge from the storm is simply uplifting, so it isn't necessary to be truly evil like me to enjoy reality tv.

Sara is a lost cause, just as a human being. Virginia seems never to have been intellectually challenged at any previous point in her life. She's growing, a little, but I agree that her behavior is often irritating. Garret will either self-destruct or quit. A return to the the correctional system sometime in the future is not out of the question for him. Heather is competent. She would do well with her own place, better than all the others. Keith.....I never really know what he's saying, but I like watching him gain confidence as he goes. Reading the menu in any place that he runs could be um, entertaining, but I think that like Heather, he'd manage to make his place work.

There is no way I could take Baby Huey seriously as a chef FatOld&Bald. :D

Rachel was the only character I like this year. It's too bad the tryst between her and Heather wasn't aired until the night of her demise because that would have been fun to watch.

FatOld&Bald - July 19, 2006 05:59 PM (GMT)
I liked Rachel very much and I thought her friendship with Heather was great. I was sorry to see her go. I wanted it to be the two of them in the end.

I can't take Baby Huey seriously either, but that's why I'm starting to root for him. It would be a hoot to be in his place if he won.

Baby Huey! That's a good one. I presume you mean Keith. Yes, he does remind me of baby huey... :laugh

I think that is who they mean.

By they, I presume you mean me? Yes, that's who I meant. The other "character" he reminds me of is Sloth from the Goonies, but we already gave that nick to Ivan from SYTYCD. :laugh

I never saw that movie.
