Ok, I didn't get to watch the whole show, but I know that you would never make it out of an elimination round singing a Duran Duran song to the likes of Tommy Lee and Jason Newsted. I thought Tommy was right on though when he said there would be no losers in this competition. Most of these guys/gals will find success. I'm looking forward to future episodes.

No matter how well Matt would have rocked Duran Duran, he should have just said "guys, it's been fun, but send me home". :rolleyes: It's a crying shame too, because he was 20X better than the other two clowns he was in the bottom three with.

That is so true! He likely could have gotten away with it and may have been given a little credit for trying to ramp it up, but when he chose it freely directly after that feedback as something to do on elimination day, it was like directly ignoring their words, which they coudln't really overlook. I liked him better than the other 2 as well, so was disappointed.

I saw Matt on Reality Remix. He said that they all have to pick an elimination song before they actually pick the song they will be performing. He had the Coldplay song and it didn't do well for him. Personally, I like Duran Duran, but not a good song to pick for elimination. I agree with you guys that he was probably the best singer of the three. He also said in the interview that he's a stronger guitar player and songwriter than he is a singer. :suspicious After that statement I wondered why he wanted to be the singer of Supernova... who needs a strong singer.
