Title: Any INXS fans?

They were here about 2 weeks ago and I went to meet them. I saw 4 out of the 6 members. They were really cool. I am not a JD fan, never have been, never will be (as I believe there will never be another Michael), but it was fun to meet them. JD was super stoned but I was not surprised, I can always post the pics if you guys want.

I think they will hunt you down and tickle you if you don't post the pics Sheena. I always knew JD loved Mary Jane...you almost have to in order to be an Elvis impersonator. B)

I thought about going to see them in Fredericton when they were there... but it's an hour away, and it was on a Sunday night, and I had to be at school for 8:15 the next morning... so needless to say, it wasn't going to happen.

I have my tickets to one of their Sept concert here in Sydney safely tucked away!!! We are even coming home from the snow a day early so that I get to see them.
Can't wait!! It is going to be awesome!! I saw them on the Kick tour and in a pub once, so it will be interesting to see them with a new front man. There will never be a replacement for Michael Hutchence, but there is a replacment singer for the band.

I definitely washed and disinfected after being that close to JD, he is gross! (although I have to say the following day, Andrew let my husband and I into an private party of theirs and JD again suoper stoned and dressed in a pink shirt and tie was still pretty friendly, but I don't like him and probably never will)

I saw INXS here in Halifax back in May. They do put on an amazing concert. But yes JD was drunk and stoned. Our seats were beside the stage about 10 rows up, and the big screen was only one section over from us. That was about as close as I wanted to get. I don't know if he was more emotional because he was performing in front of his friends and family in the audience (actually in the same section and same row I was in). I actually enjoyed their opening act a little more. Stabilo opened for them here.
