Every year I always do this. It's like a 'Best Of' for the current year, where ARTers will post on the year's biggest happenings, breakthrough artists, music events, most favourite songs, most hated songs, best musicians and more!

So post away your comments for the year 2005's Best Of in the music world.

Here are my Top 5 songs of the Year 2005:

1. Hung Up - Madonna
(Her comeback from her horseriding accident proves strong, and truly catchy after her so-called "failure" for her last album American Life. So welcome back, Queen Of Pop, and I hope the accident helps in your acting capabilities too.)

2. Ordinary People - John Legend
(He's so good, yet he isn't on the charts. With the help of Kanye West, John Legend shot to fame with his debut single, "Used To Love U", but his second single proves that he is one of the most talented male musicians in the R&B/Hip-Hop music scene right now. Will make James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" sounds like he's a Pussycat Doll act.)

3. Dare - Gorillaz
(This will be the first time you will dance to a video from an animated character. And you thought only your kids dance to Barney and Teletubbies.)

4. We Belong Together - Mariah Carey
(Welcome back, diva, and please keep your clothes on. Other than that, you are truly someone who can sing. And also special shoutout to Jermaine Dupri on his great collaboration behind-the-scenes.)

5. Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stefani
(Guys love banana shoutouts too. Gwen Stefani's.)
