"You Can Call Me Daddy"
Kevin Federline has launched his hip-hop career. A track by Federline was posted on the Internet by Disco D, the producer of his upcoming album, 'The Truth', to be released next year. Though the song has since been taken off Disco D's Web site, it has popped up elsewhere. "Back then, they called me K-Fed, but you can call me Daddy instead," quotes the lyrcis from the chorus of 'Y'all Ain't Ready'. Over an industrial beat reminiscent of Kelis' Milkshake, Federline represents himself as a brash, newsworthy figure ahead of his time. "People always asking me when's the release date /Well, baby you can wait and see, until then all these Pavarottis followin' me." Tabloids might remark that their photographers are actually focused on his pop star wife. But the 27-year-old does anticipate some backlash from his musical pursuits: "My prediction is that y'all gonna hate on the style we create, straight 2008." Yes people, your nightmare has begun!

Embarrassed Church
Charlotte Church regrets attacking British pop star James Blunt's singing skills, because she was recently forced to sit next to him at an awards ceremony. She was horrified when organisers introduced her to the soldier-turned-singer at the Q Awards in London, saying: "I had to meet James Blunt because we were sitting at the same table, which was awkward. I've recently said some pretty uncomplimentary things about him in the press. But I'm sorry, his voice is so whiny. I don't like James Blunt. His song 'You're Beautiful' is so annoying. The way he says 'angel' really gets me."

I heard a bit of Britney Spear's 2 year husbands song and it really sucks. I can't wait for it to come out and bomb.
:laugh I downloaded a sample of it. It was as awful as can be.
It's no wonder that Britney Spears was rumored to have made nasty comments of it.
I quote a source:
QUOTE
"His efforts were greeted with hurtful laughter from his superstar wife, who was unimpressed. She said his debut CD might sell 'a hundred, maybe a thousand' copies if he was lucky. Kevin looked really hurt".

Christina Huggy-leraThe war between Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears is officially over. Hostilities ceased between the two former Mickey Mouse Club child stars after Christina sent Britney a little present to celebrate the birth of her son Sean. Which, while being a very lovely thing to do, does close the door on one of the more fabulous showbiz rows of recent years. Christina told Heat magazine: "I sent her a gift basket, and she phoned me to say thanks. I still can't believe little Britney's had a baby, though! It's weird. You've known this person since she was a girl, and now she's doing all these grown-up things. It's been quite a journey for both of us. We've just ended up at very different places in our lives."
Secretive Christina's WeddingApparently, during Christina Aguilera's wedding, all of Christina and fiance Jordan Bratman's guests were required to sign and return a legal agreement before they were allowed into the ceremony. This stopped them from revealing anything about their happy day, from Christina's dress to the cake to the speeches. Naturally, one enterprising guest has blabbed the one thing they CAN talk about, the details of the document, which came with a letter that reads: "It came as a great shock to us that one of our guests has been trying to sell their invitations. We are sorry to have to ask you, our dear friends and honoured guests to sign this agreement but we feel it is the only way to ensure the security of our wedding." Typically, this has not gone down well with all of the guests, one of whom complained about the document to the press: "You have to sign your life away. It's three pages long."

Simon VS SimonRival pop moguls Simon Fuller and Simon Cowell are due to go into legal battle yesterday, with Fuller accusing Cowell of copying his ideas in the hugely successful talent show format. Cowell, famous on British and US television as the acerbic judge on Pop Idol and American Idol, created his own show The X Factor, which Fuller said was a rip-off of his Pop Idol concept. Cowell has called the legal action "utterly ridiculous". In a case scheduled to open at the High Court, Fuller's company 19 TV, creator of both Pop Idol and American Idol, is taking action against Cowell, his firms Simco and Syco and X Factor producer FremantleMedia, a unit of pan-European broadcaster RTL Group. The case could spell the end of a partnership that has built shows worth tens of millions of dollars. The two impresarios, who collaborated on Pop Idol, have exported the show successfully around the world.

Pity The FooDave Grohl knows a thing or two about what not to say when performing onstage, after years of dodging mints thrown by the audience, every time the Foo Fighters perform their old song 'Big Me' - the video for which saw the band endorsing their own brand of mints.
Stuff magazine asked Dave which Foos songs they wouldn't be playing: "'Big Me'. Every time we played it, it would just start raining Mentos. We did a show in Canada and, in the middle of the song, someone threw a pack, and it hit me right in the face. I was so p*****, I picked it up and I said, 'It's been 10 f***** years since that video. I'm going to burn these Mentos onstage and finally get it out of my life'."
But: "I reached into my pocket and I didn't have a lighter, so I said', 'Does anybody have a lighter?' Ten thousand people threw their lighters at me."

I think this happened in August right after the concert I went to. I am happy to know I was one of the last ones to see that song done live :D

Britney Flashes BabyJust two months after Britney Spears gave birth and one month after photos of her baby leaked onto the Internet, the pop star is posing with her new family for the cover of this week's People magazine. The move comes just in time to promote her new album, B in the Mix: The Remixes, which hit stores this week. Spears' also set up the Spears Family Hurricane Relief Foundation to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. "It will assist in the rebuilding of homes, removal of trees and debris, fixing roofs, support after-school programs, and provide clothing." The Britney Spears Foundation has already given grants to Habitat for Humanity and to the East Baton Rouge Parish School System to place up to 7,000 New Orleans students in their schools. However, Spears' main plans now revolve around being a mother, with her most prized time with little Sean Preston being their afternoon naps together.

Splitney FearsIt is reportedly that Kevin Federline brought a dope smoking mate, nicknamed Weedman by Brit, to the house on Wednesday, and Britney kicked them both out and fired the two security guards who let them into the house! Then on Friday Mrs Federline took off to Vegas to celebrate her birthday without her hubby in tow. A 'friend' said: "Britney has gone through hell and back recently with Kevin. He's been going out and partying, leaving her at home with their son. Britney has given him a lot of space but he's been taking advantage and doesn't seem to care. She called in the lawyers because she's had enough." Britney also apparently sent the car she bought for Kev - a very expensive Ferrari 360 Modena - back to the dealers.

Confessions Of A Drug User Lindsay Lohan admitted dabbling in drugs and battling bulimia pushed her close to emotional and physical collapse. "I knew I had a problem and I couldn't admit it," Lohan told Vanity Fair magazine. "I was making myself sick. I was sick and I had people sit me down and say 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself'." Lohan said she used drugs "a little" but quickly tried to retract the admission and denied that she had taken cocaine. "I don't want people to think that I've done. . . you know what I mean? It's kind of a sore subject." Lohan's publicist called Vanity Fair the day after the interview to try to get the confession omitted from the article, the New York Post reported. She also admitted fighting the eating disorder bulimia, which made her lose weight at an alarming rate, when she saw footage of herself on a Saturday Night Live television appearance looking skeletal that Lohan became aware of how ill she really was. "I saw that SNL after I did it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms." Her physical condition led to a two-week hospitalisation with a swollen liver and kidney infection last year.
Lohan Managed To Bait Leo?Lindsay Lohan is rumoured to be dating Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio. The pair allegedly celebrated the New year with a midnight kiss after meeting at the New Year's Eve party Lohan hosted at Miami's Prive nightclub. Lohan was hospitalized the next day after suffering an asthma attack but had her friends sneak the 'Titanic' star in to see her. A source said: "Leo visited every night. He would sneak in through a back entrance wearing a cap which covered his face. He really helped her get through the ordeal. And he showered her with gifts and chocolates to keep her spirits up." The 32-year-old actor is reportedly so smitten with the 19-year-old that he plans to fly to New York with her to meet her mother and manager, Dina. Leonardo split with long-term partner Gisele Bundchen, 25, in November, after a series of rows about his love of partying and reluctance to marry. (Sounds like Lindsay is the one, then) He is now said to be planning a holiday with his young new girlfriend. An insider said: "Leo and Lindsay want to get a boat and cruise around the Caribbean before she starts shooting her next film, 'Chapter 27'."
