Title: Last CD Bought

Epheks - October 16, 2005 07:14 AM (GMT)
What is the last CD you bought and how do you like it?

I just got the Bedouin Soundclash CD and I love it. I got the Muse CD Absolution with it too. Both really good CD's that I haven't put down. I have been waiting for the Starting Line CD for at least 3-4 months now. Amazon can be a joke at times.

What's Bedouin Soundclash music sound like, Epheks? I have heard of them before, but not their music.

The last CD I bought was Alicia Keys's "Unplugged" and Franz Ferdinand's "You Could Have It So Much Better". Both are good CDs.

I Got "Something to Be" by Rob Thomas, and I have to admit, I love it!

Bedouin is like a reggae rock, really good unique sound to them. Boo turned me on to them and I thank her for it. :smug

Gonna check them out.

I managed to find (ahem) their single "When The Night Feels My Song".

You will all bow to the greatness that is Bedouin Soundclash. :shifty

I saw them in concert this summer and I even met the singer. Their CD is perfect for a day like today, it brings sunshine even when it's cold and rainy outside! Ok, enough publicity for today. :laugh

The last CD I bought was of course, just like GA, "You Could Have It So Much Better" by Franz Ferdinand. I have to say it would be hard to have it better because they rock my socks off!

The last CD I bought was the debut single "Alive" of the Canadian Idol winner Melissa O'Neil. I like it a lot and I think I'll buy her debut album as well.

I love that single Jay... I also bought it... the last CD I bought was probably a new one by Jars of Clay... forget the title though

Sheena - November 10, 2005 11:12 PM (GMT)
The last CD I bought was "Simple Plan" and I realli like it. I also got Faith Hill's "Fireflies" a while back and I love it.

Have you people not been buying CD's around here lately?

The last CD I got was Rex Goudie from Canadian Idol ;)

dfleminator - January 1, 2006 04:27 PM (GMT)
 As soon as I saw that you had posted in this thread, Sheena, I thought you must have bought Rex's CD. Weird

Anyway, I also bought Rex's CD as my latest purchase (though I do most of my music purchasing through iTunes, so I technically don't have a "CD"... but it's all still perfectly legal :))

Epheks - January 1, 2006 09:18 PM (GMT)
On boxing day I bought the RHCP greatest hits, Blink 182 greatest hits, The Foo Fighters older one with the tattoo on his neck and I got Audioslave - Out of Exile for Christmas.

You know me too well...scary...LOL

I think his CD is really good, I like it. He'll be in Montreal in April, hope I get to go. I may be the oldest one there but hey...lol

dfleminator - January 2, 2006 05:42 AM (GMT)
I've been meaning to get tickets to see him and Melissa in March here in Saint John... maybe I'll do that tomorrow.

I recently downloaded the Barenaked Ladies - Au Naturale CD... Live from New Jersey off of iTunes.

Excellent CD, but wish Alanis Morissette hadn't ruined "Call and Answer".

Also downloaded an iTunes exclusive CD of Rob Thomas. It has a bunch of songs played acoustically including Lonely No More, This is How a Heart Breaks, and Ever the Same. He also talks about some of his songs, and there are also original versions of some of his Matchbox 20 songs, as well as Smooth with Carlos Santana.

Something Is Expected - Theresa Sokyrka

(Sophomore album of second place contestant on Canadian Idol 2)

dfleminator - October 7, 2006 06:32 AM (GMT)
I bought Ryan Star's "Dark Horse"

It's a live CD of a bunch of songs from Rock Star, as well as some originals. I really like it!

ccorces1 - October 17, 2006 07:15 PM (GMT)
The new Justin Timberlake and Lupe Fiasco records, both are great

jonnysbandit - December 11, 2006 05:10 PM (GMT)
Haven't bought any great new CD's lately unfortunately. Maybe I will after Christmas.

grand-audiomaster - February 4, 2007 06:41 AM (GMT)
I just bought a number of relatively new CDs, and some because they're relatively cheap!

- The Killers' "Sam's Town"
- Scissor Sisters' "Ta-Dah!"
- Hal's "Hal"
- Stereophonics' "Just Enough Education To Perform"
- Beck's "The Information"
- John Legend's "Once Again"
- Supergrass's "Supergrass Is 10: The Best Of 94-04"

jonnysbandit - March 15, 2007 05:19 PM (GMT)
I just bought Elton John's Greatest 1970-2002 Hits box set. It's awesome if you are an EJ fan.

grand-audiomaster - March 17, 2007 09:36 AM (GMT)
Amy Winehouse's "Back To Black", and am currently thinking over purchasing some more:
- Paolo Nutini's "These Streets"
- Stefanie Sun's "My Story, Your Song"
- The Fratellis's "Costello Music".

Epheks - March 17, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
I just got Musiq Soulchild's new CD, Luvanmusiq. One of my favourite artists.

grand-audiomaster - March 18, 2007 08:35 AM (GMT)
Turns out that I purchased none of the list's albums (some were unavailable!), so I bought Beck's Guero.
